Becoming a Health and Safety Representative (HSR)
Under the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015(external link) (HSWA) and the Health and Safety at Work (Worker Engagement, Participation and Representation) Regulations 2016(external link) (the Regulations), to be a Health and Safety Representative (HSR) you must be a worker who has been formally elected by the members of your work group to represent them on health and safety matters. The election process must follow the steps required by law.
