MBIE and WorkSafe New Zealand are consulting on proposed options to reset the Major Hazard Facilities fee and levy rates.

The consultation document seeks your feedback on options you think will best:

• make sure that MHF fees and levy rates are fair, efficient, effective, and transparent
• provide sufficient levy and fee revenue to appropriately fund WorkSafe’s regulatory activity in overseeing the regime, and
• support safety outcomes in the major hazard facilities sector.
