Following the incident where a harvester contacted power lines, an investigation revealed that the driver had forgotten to lower his grain chute, as the result of being distracted. Another worker offered to close a gate, which would normally have been closed by the harvester driver, who would have then checked his chute. Company procedures have been reviewed as a result. The driver did however stay inside the vehicle as he was trained to do in such circumstances.
