Elimination

The most effective way to reduce noise levels at your work is to eliminate the noise source.

Absorption

Absorption is used to reduce levels of reflected sound or sound created at a source.

Acoustic enclosures

Use enclosures fitted around all or part of a machine to reduce noise.

Reducing impact noise

Impact noise happens when objects hit a hard surface, such as when they are dropped from height or when they hit against another object.

Damping

Damping lowers noise levels by reducing air turbulence and mechanical vibration. If used correctly, damping is one of the most effective ways of reducing noise levels.
