If you contact WorkSafe to make a notification through the road cone hotline, we will collect personal information about you, including:

  • Your full name
  • Your contact details

We collect this personal information in order to assess and take action in response to reports about excessive use of road cones.

You must provide this information if you wish to make a report about excessive use of road cones – we do not accept anonymous reports.

Besides our staff, we may share this information, along with your report, with the relevant road controlling authority (RCA) where this is necessary to take action in response to your report. We may also disclose your personal information to RCAs or other parties where this is required or authorised by law.

We will manage any personal information you supply in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 and our Privacy Policy
