Tim is the Northern region grand finalist. Learn about his approach to health and safety.
Tim grew up in Muriwai on the family farm and currently lives in Hobsonville Point with his wife Jenny. In partnership with his parents, they rear 1,000 beef calves on 100 ha and lease a further 200 ha of beef finishing.
He has some really good advice about the importance of communication in managing health and safety, as well as managing the team’s overall wellbeing. Tim also outlines their approach to sustainability on the farm.
“Good health and safety looks, to us, like happy people, enjoying the work, in a safe environment.”
