David is the Taranaki Manawatu region grand finalist. Learn about his approach to health and safety.

David is currently the herd manager/second in charge on the family farm near Oroua where he was raised, milking 420 cows across 180 hectares. He's currently completing Primary Industry Training Organisation qualifications while also finishing his AI apprenticeship. He took out the title of 2020 Manawatu Dairy Trainee of the year.

He shares some great advice as to how they manage any health and safety risks when milking, including what PPE is essential in their roles.
