The Defendant company is a roofing company. The defendant company was contracted to replace half a roof. The company's director was working on this project, which he stepped onto a corrugated PVC roof panel (skylight) and fell 3.5m onto concrete floor. He sustained a broken nose, cut to the forehead, seven broken ribs, a punctured lung, multiple brain bleeds and double vision.
