You must notify WorkSafe New Zealand of your adventure activity operations
If you would like to notify us of a work-related injury or illness, you can do this at Notify WorkSafe.
Notification process for adventure activity operators
Operators who decide they are subject to the Regulations are asked to notify WorkSafe using the form below. The notification process enables WorkSafe to maintain up-to-date information about adventure activity operators that are covered by the regulations and to offer support.
Once notified, operators can receive faster access to the support they need to complete their registration process.
The easiest way to give written notice to WorkSafe is to submit an online notification form.

Please note | Notifying WorkSafe about your business is not the same as registering your business.
Registration of your business happens after you have successfully passed a safety audit, been certified by a recognised audit provider and paid the registration fee. The Registrar may use its discretion to not register you if any of the clauses in Regulation 7(external link) apply. The Registrar will engage with you before making this decision.
